We started building Invoice Generator Maxafter hearing the same complaint from every freelancer we knew: “I just want to send an invoice without signing up for something that wants to do my taxes.”
The big accounting platforms charge $30–$200 per month for features most freelancers will never touch. The free generators are convenient but lose your data the moment you clear your browser history. The mobile apps are capped at 3 invoices per month, plastered with upsell prompts, and cookie-cutter enough that clients can tell at a glance which app you used.
So we built what we wished existed: a free, beautiful, full-featured invoice generator that you can use in 30 seconds without an account — and a thoughtful, genuinely affordable paid tier for when you're ready for unlimited invoices, team collaboration, and AI to handle the busywork.
That's the whole pitch. Send invoices that look great, get paid faster, and don't pay for features you don't use.

Our free tier is not a trial or a bait-and-switch. 15 invoices per month, full branding, PDF export — forever. If you outgrow it, upgrade because you want more, not because we cut you off mid-invoice.
Beautiful by default
Invoices are the last impression you leave with a client before asking for money. They should look like they came from a design agency, not a spreadsheet from 2011.
